Lesson 1 (Warmer). Reasons to read it. Before to start the presentation, students read aloud why their classmates should read the book they are going to talk about during the lesson.
Lesson 1 (Activity 1) World Book and Copyright Day. 1. Get a costume and show your talent. Before holidays, teacher told them to prepare an activity in which they should bring his/her favourite book and get dressed as same as the character, they also have to outline it in one page and prepare an exposition .
Lesson 1 (Conclusion). Reading Challenge. During the last ten minutes, pupils compromise to read one of the books their classmates have been talking about, so they write a compromise letter saying the name of the book they are going to read.
Lesson 2 (Warmer). The three R´s rules. When students come into the class, they find written on the backboard this sentence “The three R´s rules”, they must guess the meaning of this.
Lesson 2. International Recycling Day. (Activity 1). Open your ears and eyes. Students watch this video:
Lesson 2 (Activity 2) Write your own ideas. Children write down five ways to reduce, re-cycle and reuse (Group- Work).
Lesson 2 (Activity 3). Recycling Facts. Read the text and answer the questions.
Lesson 2 (Conclusion). I have… Who has? Each child has a card where it written some action to reduce/ recycle or reuse, they try to find one of the classmates that have the word, one they have found it they go on collecting more sentences.
For example:
María: Reduce.
Juan: Use less paper to save trees.
María and Juan now try to find more
sentences that mean Reduce.
Lesson 3 (Warmer). Hogwards Letter. When students come into the class they find this letter, but they don't have the necessary equipment is being required on the letter. They must go to their groups table and check the object they have to find (owl, the broom, books, potions and the wand).
NOTE: Each
time they finish a challenge, they get a clue about the place where the object
has been hidden. The first group in finding the object obtains a clue to go to
Hogwarts through the Platform 9 ¾.
Lesson 3 (Conclusion). Houses Points. At the end of the Unit, the winner house gets “The House Cup”, so during all the lessons they have to do good actions (being good classmates, helping their parents, doing exercises, having good behaviour…) otherwise they lose points.
Lesson 4 (Warmer). Trailer Spells. Students watch this trailer to understand the topic of the following lesson.
Lesson 4 (Activity 1). Describing Spells.
Work in groups, they
have one spell, the description is around the class, they find his/hers before
the rest of the groups find theirs.
Lumos: A
handy piece of magic that can turn a wand into a torch.
Expelliarmus:
is a disarming spell and is used to knock the opponent's wand from their
hand.
Alohomora Duo:
is the incantation of a stronger variation of the Unlocking Charm,
a spell which
unlocks doors and other locked objects, but is unclear in how it is stronger.
Ascendio: is
a charm used
to lift the caster high into the air or propel them to the surface should they
be underwater at the time.
Expecto Patronum: A difficult spell, and the only
known defence against Dementors.
Lesson 4 (Activity 2). Real vs fantastic. Groupwork, divide different events in real and fantastic (template is provided). Then, look for two more events that appear on Harry Potter (one real/fantastic).
Example: we don´t
know the events they are going to propose but it would be something like this…:

When Harry meets his friends
Hermione and Ron is an example of real story (because it could happen
actually). However, when Harry pronounces Lumos ´s spell is something fantastic
(because it not possible to create light from a wand).
Lesson 4 (Conclusion). Sentence Spell. Students have some cards (the red ones are the subject and the blue ones are the predicate). In groups, one person gets two cards (one blue and one red), those cards make a sentence, he/she performs it and the rest of the team members must guess it.
Lesson 5 (Warmer). Guessing the theme. Students watch this image, they guess what the lesson is about.
Lesson 5 (Conclusion). Role play. Students perform a job and learners try to guess it.
Lesson 6 (Warmer). Competition Time. To compete with the other classes (4ths), teacher writes some sentences one the backboard using some of the previous structures the have already known, they have to put them in the correct order. Teacher checks all the points, if we have more than the other class we win some threat.
Lesson 6 Grammar Project. Are you, Is he/she…good at? (Activity 1). Quick questions. Dice with different activities, one pupil throws the dice, then, he/she makes the question to another classmate (Circle Class).
Lesson 6 (Activity 2). Harry Potter abilities. Teacher provides a timetable with the things Harry Potter and his friends were good at, in pairs, students ask one to each other.
Lesson 6 (Activity 3). I am good at… Learners create their own timetable with three things they very good at and other three they were not, in pairs, ask to your classmate.
Lesson 6 (Conclusion). Harry Potter machine. In pairs, students have a picture of different characters that appear on Harry Potter, using the grammar machine they describe them (this is grammar review, learned it from years before).
Lesson 8 (Warmer). Teacher's magic story. To introduce to Final Task, teacher tells their children the story she has written because her tale is also going to appear on the mini story book.
Lesson 8 (Activity 1). Dice Story. In groups, pupils write a story by using a template.
Lesson 8 (Acitivty 2). Magic book (Toontastic 3D). Using the previous story, children recreate it by using this App. Then, watch all the stories.
